Santa Rosa Fiber is an exciting project to bring Fiber-to-the Home (FTTH) technology to residents of Vernon, Texas. This fiber technology will enable Santa Rosa Communications customers to access services including ultra-fast internet with speeds to homes of one Gig — the equivalent of 1,000 Mbps.

During the fiber installation process, Santa Rosa Communications will construct a network of fiber optic cables which use light instead of electricity to carry a digital data signal. This network will provide outstanding reliability and equip the community to enjoy the communications services of today and tomorrow.

Santa Rosa Communications will schedule the order of fiber installation in Vernon neighborhoods (soon to be fiberhoods) based on the level of interest expressed by residents. The program is called “Band Together for Fiber.”
